BOOST VECTOR EX is a stylish anime parkour racer about going absurdly fast and looking cool doing it. You pick a Vector Master, each with their own boost and movement style, then tear through handcrafted circuits: vertical beaches, skyscraper sides, dreamscapes that should not exist. Slide into a charge jump into a wall-ride, nail a trick, and blast out the other side. It's a runner, a 3D platformer and a racing game arguing in the same room, and somehow they all win.
There's a story mode for bonding with the Masters, online races and co-op, full mod support and global leaderboards, plus a demo if you want a taste. The solo developer has been iterating on feedback, and praise for the movement and distinct characters has held as the review count climbed.
It's still on the lighter side for a full-priced launch, the tutorial can leave advanced tech for you to discover, and a few tracks have sticky spots. Full controller support is the way to play, it runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, there's a launch discount until November 16, and it hasn't been rated for Deck.
