Here the paddle is your blade and the ball is your weapon. You serve into crowds of gods and demons, and your timing and angle decide where each shot ricochets. Then comes the twist: you have to go and pick your balls back up, so your damage depends on how bravely you position yourself in a screen full of bullets.
Four heroes, each with portrait art and a signature skill, change how a run plays, and shop upgrades plus campfire rests let you shape a build across procedurally generated stages. Watching balls pinball between enemies once a build clicks is the payoff, and swapping heroes to chase a new combo is what keeps the one-more-run itch going.
Be ready for a tight swing window. When enemies and bullets pile up it can get hard to read whether to dodge or swing, and the third stage can feel like a grind that leaves you short on resources. If precise timing under pressure frustrates you rather than hooks you, that is the dealbreaker to weigh.
