AUTOMATE DEATH is a cartoon military idle tower defense about industrializing a goblin apocalypse. Place an M2, sweep the road, then grow a ridiculous arsenal of miniguns, howitzers, drones and worse while a fat research tree of permanent upgrades never resets. Every goblin is physically simulated, crowds shove each other around, and the whole thing leans hard into that early-2000s flash-game loop, just bigger and meaner.
There's a lot of meat here: dozens of maps, mastery unlocks, a level editor and Steam Workshop support. Sessions stretch; early players are already logging long hours. The developer has been balancing and expanding the research side as feedback comes in, which helps when a stage asks for another grind pass.
Fair warning: difficulty still swings between cakewalks and stubborn walls, and some missions want research farming before they click. The violence is cartoon blood and ragdoll slapstick, not grimdark. It runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, there's no full controller support, and it hasn't been rated for Deck. Cheap as chips on a small launch discount.
